Thursday, October 28, 2010 Y 5:28 PM Last Update probably the last time i'm writing a post here... wow, time flies. it's been 3 years since i've first step foot here. happy-sad that i'm graduating. at this point, more sad than happy... certain things have become clear to me over these few years... one of it is the meaning of Love. the perfect example is God and His Son, Jesus - who in an ultimate act of love, laid down His life. for humanity... for people like me. how crazy is that. after living for 22 years, is there something/someone whom i can say with certainty that i love? will i choose to lay down my life for them? yeah, i like many things... i like music. i like food. i like yous. but, dare i say i 'love'? in my selfish nature, i have not come to a point where i have learnt to love. in all states, in all circumstances... perhaps this is Life*. learning to live out our faith and hope with the love that was freely given to us. Creator God, show me how to love like You have loved me. |
